How to choose right foundation-Foundation helps to make your face more attractive and beautiful. But sometimes we choose the foundation which is not suits to face. It is very important to know how to choose foundation.
FOUR COMMON TYPES OF FOUNDATION-
- LIQUID FOUNDATION-It is the most common type foundation and good for all skin type. Whether you are dry skin, normal skin. Oily skin and combination.
- CREAM FOUNDATION-Cream foundations are pretty much like the liquid but obviously in the thicker texture. So they come in little compact, in a jar and sometimes in a pump. With cream foundation a lot of the times used by dry skin and normal skin. Dry and normal skin prefer cream foundation because its not more hydrating it is thicker. - STICK FOUNDATION-Stick foundations are usually found in high and professional brand makeup. It is best for oily skin because your skin is already quite moisturize and oily. HOW TO CHOOSE-
For choosing the right tone of foundation you should first wash your face and look yourself in a mirror and study your face. If your skin predominantly pink so you obviously have a pink under tone. If your skin yellow overall always you have yellow skin tone. Once you determine what tone you have. Dose not mean that because you are pink face skin tone you are going for only pink based skin foundations. Think about this way if you are already pretty much pink tone so why would you go for more pink tone. Then you try for yellow or neutral based foundation. To know foundation is matched or not on your skin it takes 20 to 30 minutes to determine it is matched or not on skin. The quickest way determine whether your foundation color match your skin or not check your skin tone under sunlight. Because once you go in natural lightning you look completely different.
SOME TIPS WHILE USING FOUNDATION-
- While using foundation first use cream or sunscreen properly on face, neck and hands.
- Whenever you apply foundation blend it on your neck. If your hands and back are not much fair like your face then apply the foundation there too because it’s not look nice to see difference of color in other parts. It should be same and maintained.
- Never sleep foundation on face. Foundation is like a mask that you put over on your face temporarily for the day. So you should wash your face before sleep.
- Don’t use expired foundation always check the expiry date of foundation. Never use expired foundation on your face. Usually some bottle have on side expiry date of foundation.
