HONEY CHILLI POTATO RECIPE-

Chilli potato is a Chinese food recipe. You can make tasty and healthy chilli potato at home with a few ingredients. We have observed restaurant’s chilli potato is very spicy and not healthy because they use colours in it. The market chilly potato is not good for our health. So let’s see how to make homemade healthy and delicious chilli potatoes.

Ingredients-

  • 5/6 potato (full-size potato).
  • Salt ½ teaspoon.
  • 2-3 teaspoons of chilly sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon chilly flakes.
  • Corn flour.
  • 1 cup of oil.
  • 2-3 chopped onion
  • 2-3 capsicum.
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce.
  • 2-3 teaspoon tomato sauce.

Step No. 1

First, cut potato or aloo like we cut French fries.

Make sure they are not wet.

Step No.2

Now add cornflour potato and coat the potato with corn flour coating.

Step No.3

Now add one cup of oil to the pan/kadhai.

Step No.4

Fry the potato on medium flame. Fry it until it becomes light brown. 

Note- Do not fry them dark brown and fry them on medium flame.

Step No.5

When you are done with frying, now we are going to make chilly potatoes. 

Add 2-3 teaspoons of oil and add one teaspoon of sesame seeds and saute them. Now add onion and capsicum to the pan and green chilli. Fry it until vegetables become crunchy. Fly it on a medium flame.

Step No.6

Now add tomato sauce to the vegetables and turn the flame to low. Add chilly sauce to the pan. Add a teaspoon of soya sauce to it. Add one teaspoon of chilly flakes to it.

Instead, you can add 2 dry red chillies after grinding them coarsely ground.

Add less than one teaspoon of salt to it.

Stir and cook all the ingredients well.

Now add one teaspoon of vinegar in it.

Switch off the flame and 2 teaspoons of honey in it.

Now add potato stir and mix until the sauce coats the potatoes well.

Now your tasty chilli potato is ready.

If you feel less taste chilly sauce or sauce you can add it after when you taste them.
